WOMAN OF MANY HATS:............. WIFE, MOTHER,SCHOOL TEACHER, SONGWRITER....HER MISSION: To encourage others and build them up in the faith. What could be more important or more rewarding? Victoria James has been writing songs from the age of 10. She grew up in Massachusetts where she first played her original songs in church. At Gordon College she shared her songs both in chapel and with friends in the dorms. After writing songs for her family, she began to work with producer Roy A. Clark from Pinepoint Productions. Victoria has completed two CD projects and 1 video project with Pinepoint. She has published songs for Kathryn Mackel novels with Westbow Press and Realms Fiction.Victoria served on the board of directors for the New England Christian Arts Council for 2 years. She has also joined the Maine Songwriter's Association. Weekly, she participates in Gathered Worship at her home church, Windham Baptist Church in Windham, Maine. Songwriting also plays a part in her classroom at Songo Locks School where she teaches fourth graders. Touring New England is another way Victoria has shared her original music by visiting churches, coffeehouses, prisons, teen centers, bookstores, outreach functions, and women's retreats. She enjoys meeting people and sharing her faith through her music. It ministers to the heart and refreshes the soul...very warming and welcoming. Someone once said Victoria shares "the kind of music I want to put on at the end of a hard day".
